The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo takes up the Green Attitude
The Hotel Metropole believes its own development shall include the pursuit of a healthier way of life for guests and staff members. It is with this aim that the Hotel Metropole undertakes to act resolutely in order to contribute to environmental protection as best as possible.
Education:
The “Colleagues’ Environmental Charter” is delivered to each employee joining the company; the newcomer is then requested to put it into practice on a daily basis.
Consciousness-raising:
The Hotel Metropole has imagined its “Green advice” for its clientele and has designed a “Green
attitude” logo for every marketing and PR document in order to support the Hotel’s commitment to environmental protection.
Involvement:
The Hotel Metropole has already formed a “Green committee” made up of a sample group of 20
staff members. The committee’s objective is to concretise initiatives in the key areas, such as
recycling, energy and water savings, and consumption of green and fair trade products.
Public Relations:
The environmental charter will be provided to all our guests, partners and suppliers to raise their awareness and promote our engagement to the sustainable development. The international and national press will be informed consistently of all our initiatives in the area of environmental protection.
Involvement beyond the working sphere:
The Hotel Metropole is getting mobilized to organise many events in partnership with a number of educational institutions, charitable associations and arts associations particularly involved in
environmental protection, in order to extend its field of action beyond the various characteristics of the sole Hotel’s activity.
