Jetstar launches even lower Fares for Flight Tickets

Jetstar launches even lower Fares for Flight Tickets
Low fares leader Jetstar has launched new, simple fare options for flight tickets that give customers more choice, flexibility and lower fares.
Now customers start with the economy Starter fare (replacing JetSaver Light, JetSaver,
JetFlex and JetPlus) then personalise their experience from an expanded range of options. One of the exciting new choices is Qantas Frequent Flyer points, now accessible on all fare bundles. Business (replacing StarClass) fares are available on long haul (A330) services. Both fares give customers:
More flexibility: The ability to customise Jetstar fares to suit individual needs, including customised baggage allowance for each passenger on each leg of their journey on the one booking
Added choice: Customers can select only the things they want. They can continue to choose the lowest fare, a la carte options or select new prepackaged value bundles
Lower fares: By unbundling Jetstar offers customers even lower fares, backed by the Jetstar ‘Price Beat Guarantee’
Jetstar Group CEO Bruce Buchanan said: “Jetstar continues to lead the industry across
the Asia Pacific region by introducing simple, flexible products that provide the lowest
fares and greater choice so customers can tailor their travel options to suit their needs.
This is all underpinned by our ‘Price Beat Guarantee’.”
“You can choose almost everything but the seat colour,” Mr Buchanan said.
“These new options give customers complete control over their travel experience with
Jetstar, starting with the lowest fares.
“Our new fares and options give Jetstar the ability to tailor our offering in each of our
international markets.”
Starter fares at Jetstar include the seat and 10kg of carry-on baggage. Starter fares have a range of options including customised baggage allowances, with an option to select specific baggage limits for each passenger on each leg while keeping it all on one booking.
Once customers have purchased a Starter fare, they can buy a Plus or Max bundle option to add to their fare. Plus incorporates Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Status credits (on eligible flights), free standard seat selection and a waiver of change fees.
In addition to the Plus bundle benefits, Max goes one step further to also incorporate
upfront and/or extra leg room seating and refundability. Jetstar customers, who’ve
previously chosen JetFlex, will see similar benefits in the Max option with the Starter fare.
With an ongoing commitment to global best practice in customer service, Jetstar launched a new-look website. Based on customer feedback and extensive research the changes make it even easier to book on Jetstar.com.
